I have a very good friend who plays a lot of Dungeons and Dragons. D&D players roll a lot of dice, and this friend asked me if I could make some dice trays for him and his players to use during long all-nighter D&D sessions.
I used a piece of American Walnut for the tray with the dice compartment. I had picked up an offcut during a visit to the timber yard ages ago and had been waiting for the right project to use it. The other smaller trays were Oak I also had lying around.
The dice make the most satisfying sound rolling in this tray…
