Sometimes the small and simple projects can bring the most joy.
I came home from Australia last year with a new pair of Blundstones which obviously need good caring for! My shoe polishing equipment was floating around in one of the kitchen drawers, which is especially problematic for the brush which gets full of polish.
This little box keeps everything neat and tidy. It was made from a few pieces of oak boards left over from a previous project.
The lid slides across to open it up, and it closes again with a satisfying click.
